Try Again

As Kassidee would say lets try this again. So I want to blog. I love to do it, because I'm not getting it done in a journal I figured in about a year If I am consistent I could make a blog book. So I'm gonna try again And actually blog this time. Things have been crazy Kassidee is in school now and although it breaks my heart she is old enough to go, she loves it so I love it for her. I get the opportunity to Volunteer in her class every Friday for about 30 min. Kyler gets to go with me so its kinda a good experience because he actually has to sit still. He is also getting to know the teacher which will probably be his teacher next year. We go during literacy group and to little activities, and he enjoys it. Shawno is hard at work all the time. I'm so grateful that even though sometimes we cant have everything we would like to have that he works hard so I can stay home and raise our kids. I enjoy getting to be there for holidays. And getting to be there to help get them ready for the day. I'm the one who gets to experience everything with them so to Shawno I will always be grateful for how hard he works so that I can have this opportunity.

In June we got to go somewhere we have been waiting to go for a LONG TIME. We were blessed to become and eternal family. I'm so grateful to know that if something were to happen to any of this that this is a blessing we will have.

Kassidee got a citizenship scholar award at school for being kind to everyone and making sure everyone has a friend.I was proud because sometimes she is shy and its hard for her to talk to people even kids.. So good job sissy.

Kyler turns 4

Can you believe it? I Cant believe 4 years have come and gone since Kyler joined our family. He is a very sweet, loving and silly little boy. He can always make anyone smile, and is very mischievous. We love him and are glad he is part of our family. We had a great time this year on his birthday we went to Boondocks.(think chuck-e-cheese plus bowling, laser tag, and much more) Everyone had a blast. Kyler, We love you and hope that you had a great birthday.

So Kyler wanted to play in the snow.They also wanted to use the shovels. So we put him to work Kassidee of course just ran around. Our driveway is pretty long so might as well get a head start on training.

So when we traded my van we didn't really think about things like how we would get a Christmas Tree home, I didn't want to put the tree on my Car, Shawno ended up putting it on top of his car to get it home. Kassidee and Kyler have wanted a tree since the day after Thanksgiving but there is only like 2 tree places in Brigham to get trees. We are not one who is going to take the kiddos out in the cold up a Mountain to cut my own tree. So we ended up getting our tree from smiths(grocery store). We looked at the other place and I kind of liked the tree's better but the 8ft ones are like 70 bucks. So we opted for the 35 dollar one from Smiths and I have to say it turned out pretty good. Disney On Ice

So last month we went to Disney Princess on Ice. It was really cool. The kids had so much fun, being honest it was one of the most fun things I have really been to. I don't know if that just means that I don't do fun things that often or if it really was just because the kiddos were so excited that it made it fun for me. I was worried when we bought the tickets that Kyler wouldn't enjoy it but there was the genie Aladdin, the dragon from Mulan. The eels from Little Mermaid, Mickey, and Goofy. We had a fun night. We got great seats we were 2 rows from the ice.And we got a great price.

Halloween

Halloween was lots of fun. The kids really got into dressing up and they liked trick or treating. We went to the ward trunk or treat. It was pretty fun We only stayed for about an hour though because some little girl got sick and I didn't want my kids to catch it so...We went to a couple houses of people that we know. But I didnt want the kids to get to much Candy. Anyways. We have just been so busy between trying to paint(not getting done) trying to get organized (somewhat getting done) blah blah blah. Nothing to exciting just busy.

Its about time

I know what your thinking. Slacker comes to mind. Things have just been crazy busy since before our house up till now, and things continue to be crazy. We have had company I'm trying to touch up all the paint in our house. I'm working on the kids room now. We are going to do Nemo. They are sharing for now because they are still young enough and the other rooms are either upstairs or down. The down stairs isn't finished I wouldn't want down there. Right now we only have one bathroom but hopefully within the year we will add the other upstairs and eventually when we redo the basement add one there too. This week my parents were here and we went to Bear World there were 42 bears, a petting zoo, carnival rides it was so cool. Thanks grandpa and grandma for taking us. We also went to Logan(wish you were still there Jo) to fish but no luck. We went to A really cool home deco store called Thai Pan Trading co its so cool. We had fun playing outside. September 7Th was peach days in Brigham City. There was a carnival and parade the kids got their faces painted, however they cried for two hours that night because I made them wash it off for church (it was a Saturday night)they were filthy from the rides and playing outside. Okay So I know its been forever since I have updated the blog. I will be better now. I do have an excuse, might not be the best. But We have been super busy. We bought a house in Brigham City. So life has been pretty crazy. We have been in for about a week and a half we are almost unpacked. and Organized. We got a cat :( Shawno and the kids have been bugging me about a dog and cat. We went with the cat, now for me fish would have been ideal, but at least the cat isn't as much to handle as a dog. and it seems to have worked for the time being. I don't know I just haven't ever really been a pet person. I like pets, I just like when they are not mine. Anyway The kids are growing so fast Kassidee is getting so excited to start School lucky I still have one more year. She can write her name and some other simple words. I'm going to try to get her into preschool, or trade off with some moms in our ward. We went for the first time last week. Everyone was great. It was good to be back in a small family ward again. Kyler is growing so fast. I cant believe how fast time goes by. The kids finally have a yard again to play in, and there is even pumpkins growing in our garden. So anyway enough of the novel. I will put some pictures up Wednesday of our house. And I will keep up more now that our house is unpacked and life is going back to normal.

Hoogle Zoo

Next we went to the Zoo and the kids had a blast. They loved it. It wasn't to hot or cold so there were a few more animals than the last couple times we have gone. There was a Madagascar theme with animals from there. The Turtle is from there. The kids got to pet the snake the lady is holding. In the pic of all four kids. Dylan(sitting behind kyler) was very concerned he was getting squished by kyler and was very uncomfortable. Kyler and Kassidee loved playing with Dylan and Jordan. They had so much fun. Kyler was crying the other morning cause everyone left and it was the next day and they hadn't come back.

Aerospace Museum

So I know its not tomorrow I'm a couple of days behind but at least its within a couple of days. So next we went to the aerospace museum in Layton. It has a lot of the war plans and bombs to look at. The kids enjoyed it, and best of all it was free. So here is a couple of pics from that trip.

Then Comes Grandma Peggy and Cooper Family Visit

So Blake Left Friday Morning. Saturday we took the kids to some lame little carnival at a park.We thought it was gonna be better and bigger. But its okay cause the money went to a good cause. Then we got to see Keith for an hour. Saturday Grandma Peggy, Aunt Richelle and Cousins Jordan and Dylan Came for a visit. We started off with going to Chuck-E-Cheese and played all night.Then we went to Lagoon (no pics of either of these events sorry) Followed by the dinosaur museum in Ogden, and aerospace museum in Layton. The aquarium in Sandy. A lot of Swimming, The children's museum, The zoo, Another trip to Chuck-E-Cheese, and a lot of playing, running, and of course in between crying from the kids. Kassidee and Kyler both had colds to start out the week so didn't help their moods, but for all the running around they did pretty well. Ill start with some pics today of The Dinosaur Museum.(pics aren't in the right order but you get the idea) I will continue tomorrow with the aerospace museum pics. The Dino museum was really cool and way bigger than what I thought It was gonna be. We had a lot of fun.

Okay so I am not so good at keeping up with my blog.But I will go back the last couple of weeks and Show you what we have been up to.

To start off 2weeks ago Blake visited.The kids drove him crazy, and he drove them crazy. While he was here we went and visited Jolene and her family we had a lot of fun. The kids got to go fishing for the first time, and had a blast playing with Corbin.He is such a good little boy. Thanks for sharing your toys Corbin. And Jo for putting up with us.

So we went to Clarkston for Kyler'S Birthday(I cant believe he is 3) and Easter. And we had so so much fun. The kids had a blast and have been of course spoiled rotten by their grandparents, and friends. We left Thursday after Shawno got off of work. We stayed at Kenny and Gerri's house in Caldwell. And started our trip off getting spoiled there. A really good dinner, and The kids got bubbles and Some candy toy that where they push a button makes music and spins and lights up. They loved the bubbles and had to play with them at least once a day while on our trip.Thanks guys we loved!! and by the way the toy gave my dad hours of entertainment while we visited. Then Friday morning we drove the rest of the way this trip wasn't as smooth as the last(next time Dramamine) When we got to Clarkston even though we just saw grandma and grandpa Grover a couple of weeks ago and got spoiled rotten grandma had another load of presents for when we arrived. We dyed Easter eggs and had dinner with them
Saturday we went to bumpers(chuck-e-cheese) for Jordan's Birthday. Grandma Peggy had bought the kids a ton of tokens to play games and stamps to bounce in the slide castle thing. Followed by Pizza for lunch. At which time we noticed that Kassidee ear which she got pierced about 3 weeks ago one was looking red and kinda infected, although perfectly normal the night before at bath time when I cleaned them. So we had to take her earrings out and she was heart broken. So mad at me. We decided we should take her to urgent care for some antibiotics so if it was infected it was (bigger than an adults ear lobe)Well in clarkston the only urgent care is the hospital but they have minor care there as well. After spending 3 and half hours there we got her medicine. And continued our day. Sunday morning after waking up to the Easter Bunny leaving treats we had our first Easter egg hunt where the kids got more candy. And loved it had so much fun. Then we ate lunch at great grandpa and grandma Grover's house. Then my Aunts friend who has a lot of miniature donkeys let us come over and look and pet them. And we saw a baby donkey who was about 1 week old. the kids loved it. Then off to Grandma Peggy and Grandpa John's house for dinner and our 2ND Easter Egg hunt. The kids were so excited. They of course got spoiled, money candy and toys in their eggs.Aunt Richelle and Uncle Mike gave them a ton of markers crayons coloring books and a cute animal. Thank you!!!
Monday we hung out with grandpa Paul. Richelle also took us out for dinner on Monday. Tuesday was his "party" grandma laurie ordered a really cool Thomas the Train cake. and we had burgers and just kinda hung out. RJ Kerri and family came over it was good to see them (their little girl Brooke is about a week older than kyler) Wednesday we went around and said goodbye to all. It was hard because the kids are starting to remember people which is good but the kiddies never want to leave anyone. So here's some pics and thank you to all the grandparents and aunts, uncles and friends for spoiling us so much. We are very blessed.

Crazy couple of weeks

So just to catch up this last couple of weeks have been a little crazy and way fun. Last week was very exciting we had visitors. Grandpa Kevin ,Grandma Laurie and Vinse were at our house. One Monday afternoon Grandpa got here and we went to the park to fly kites. Kyler didn't like it I think he thought it was gonna fly away and he wouldn't get it back. Then Tuesday morning we picked up grandma from the airport and Went shopping. Tuesday night Shawno my dad and Vinse went the the jazz game and me and My mom took the kids to kangaroo zoo they bounced for a couple of hours and Had way fun taking grandma there. Wednesday we went to the Aquarium very cool for what I was expecting. It was bigger and way nicer than the few I have ever been to. Thursday we went to Park City Shopping and for A picnic. It was a pretty week nice weather but in park city kind of chilly. Friday we went to lunch with Kathy, Kelly Geoff they were down from Rigby. It was nice enough the kids got to run through the fountain at the mall. It was really really warm that whole week, now its snowing!! Saturday Everyone Left, Kassidee was really sad we told her next month we were going to Clarkston for Easter and that in June Grandma Peggy and Aunt Richelle and Cousins Jordan and Dylan were coming. That helped for now. But they needed to get back on schedule, Kassidee and Kyler were very tired that week and Kinda grouchy so sorry grandma and grandpa and Vinse and thanks for putting up with us.

Kangaroo Zoo

Today we went to Kangaroo Zoo. Huge Room with nothing but jumping castles and inflatable slides so, so much fun.This is our 2ND trip the kids love it and I like taking them there. They shriek of happiness and laughter the whole time. When we were leaving Kassidee said thank you mom for taking us to have fun, she and kyler are both great kids and I feel blessed to have them. Updates on The Kiddies

So Kassidee is really into barbies. Her new favorite thing being the barbie and the diamond castle movie. She could probably re in act every part of it and its funny because I will often hear the words Melody my darling did you really think that you could hide from me, a line said my the evil Lydia in the movie but she says it in the exact voice as the scary lady from the movie. Kassidee also has a profound love for money as the holidays have came and gone she has about 35 dollars and she wont by anything really big or exciting from it she spends a dollar here or there but anything over a dollar is out of the question. She loves to cook with me. She gets so excited even if its just stirring water in a cup. She gets so happy when its time to run out on little errands with me at night while kyler is asleep. She loves belting out songs at the top of her lungs in the car.(cause its late and your momma don't know remember Kendra?) She loves to role play and often do I hear her talking to herself. She also loves to fold clothes. Crazy I know but I can give her a basket of little towels or their little clothes and she is happy as a lark.She loves loves loves practicing her letters and can almost write most of them, hopefully all pretty soon. Her favorite food is a toss up between m&m's and carrots and Ranch.She is a daddy's girl. She has a really good heart and wants to make everyone happy.She is growing so fast I cant Believe that she is 4.

Kyler is a handful and has such thoughtful looks on his face. He is very vocal but went from screaming when he was a baby to talking in a deep grumpy voice. His favorite food being juice. He would live off it and fruit leather if I would let him. He loves trains and his dump truck. That dump truck gets him into trouble a lot he runs into people things walls. Or he will chase people until hes right at their heal and stop. He doesn't go anywhere with out a car or truck. Of course he also has a fascination with make-up mostly Kassidee's play make-up but it really bugs Shawno. Shawno and I both tell him make-up isn't for boys. He will then reply I'm not a girl really loudly but proceed to put make-up on. If asked to do something like clean up or anything he doesn't want to do he replies I'm sick or I'm tired. stinker already working the system to get out of cleaning up. Although he loves to vacuum he will vacuum our little living room for an hour. He is a mommas boy and he will constantly say mom I have a secret to tell you i will lean over he will whisper he loves me right before he gives me a big ol lick on the face. He loves when the garbage truck comes on Monday and Has to watch from the upstairs window where he will wave. He likes to talk on the Phone. He keeps us busy!!

Scavanger Hunt

So the kids got spoiled once again for the Holiday by all grandparents and The Cooper Family. Vinse was really nice to come over and babysit so we could go out even though he wasn't feeling that well. We went to dinner but I didn't really feel that great either I got a ear infection and a sinus cold two days before so we decided to skip the movie and just come home and watch movies. Anyway Grandma Peggy sent the kids some money and they had enough to pay for most of a kids digital camera that was marked down at Costco. So we chipped in the other 8 for each camera and got a couple of little things for a scavenger hunt. The Kids had to go up and down the stairs running around finding the next picture clue until it showed them were their lute was. They each got a camera and kyler got a cars punching bag (love after Christmas sales at Target $1.25) and a puzzle for the dollar store. Kassidee got a mini change purse(like yours benifer) and a mini valentines day barbie (last years clearance from target). They were laughing so hard when running up and down the stairs I want to do a scavenger hunt every year from now on. It was a really fun day. We also made candy cars out of conversation heart boxes with reces for the wheels and Hersey mini bars for the spoiler and grill, pretty cute. Me and the Kids played at the mall earlier in the day at the cute little play area that's out of the snow. We love our family and friends so so much and are grateful for each person that is part of our lives. I will post some pictures tommorow, my camera is in my car and its snowing like crazy.

Happy Birthday Baby Girl

My Baby Girl Is 4 and I can't believe it. Its crazy how fast time goes by. Kassidee is totally into barbies right now so she wanted a little barbie party. She wanted a barbie diamond castle cake and barbie plates cups and napkins. but most the stores didn't have anything barbie the day that the two of us went out to look. She was almost in tears because she said it was her birthday and it wasn't fair that she couldn't find barbie stuff so we found a zuchers(sp?) party store and long and behold found barbie plates napkins and cups. We ordered her cake this year instead of making it because they didn't have a barbie pan in stock and I waited to long to order. She wanted to go bowling and Jungle Jim's (Chuck-E Cheese) but not as many games mostly little kid carnival rides. They had a blast minus the two ear infections and kyler got sick that day too so anyhow. We love you Kassidee and are so glad you are in our life you are the biggest blessing to us we hope you had a great day!!! Here are so pictures of that day...

So way long over due is kyler getting his sippy taken away. And since I was running out of options and saw a fabulous Idea on Super Nanny Commercial.I had the kids decorate a box and told them that if they put their sippy cups in the box pirates would come trade them treasure for their sippy cups. So the next morning we had open the box the pirates bought Dora Underwear for Kassidee and Diego for Kyler and fruit snacks, tub tints and a Dora feat Diego Movie. It worked not once did Kyler Cry for the cup and hasn't in like 5 nights They are both staying dry at night and my life is easier! The kids were so so excited, I would have done this like 6 months ago if I only new it would have worked so well.

Back in Business

Finally I'm back in business. So a lot has come and gone so to recap we had thanksgiving and Christmas. We all got spoiled so much for all the grandparents and parents. Kassidee is getting ready for her 4th birthday her magical birthday according to bentifer becasue she is turning four on the 4th. but anyway here are a few pics from the last couple of months. Shawno's grandparents got Kassidee this really cute church dress with a matching dolly dress. We took the kids bowling kassidee loved it kyler just wanted to play arcade car games thus no picture of him in his bowling shoes.

Eyeballs, Pumpkins, and Painting

So we have been having a lot of fun the last few days doing some fun crafts. The Kids love painting and of course love helping out when I'm cooking so I found some really fun ideas at www.familyfun.com they loved it. The first day we made edible eyeballs out of sugar free pudding and gummy lifesavers and jelly beans. You take a gummy lifesaver and put a jelly bean in the middle then in a Easter egg plastic mold you put that in the bottom and fill it with the pre made pudding and freeze for about three hours. The 2ND Day we painted these cute wooden cars planes and Kassidee painted a wooden heart. Then tonight after family home evening we made pumpkins out of toilet paper rolls, orange fabric, paper bags, felt and pipe cleaner. They were way cute and way easy.

On Tuesday the Kids had finally filled up their marble jar for being good and cleaning up, sleeping in their beds etc, so they go to go to the zoo, and they loved it. They were so excited to go. I loved seeing how happy they were to see the animals. Kyler the most because this was his first zoo trip, I don't know why we haven't taken him, Kassidee has gone like 10 times.Anyways then They got to get their yellow dump truck out and drive it, They were so happy to be able to use it again, we don't have a yard for it but across the street there is a sand box and pretty decent size grass area for playing. On Wed, thanks to grandma Laurie and some great coupons we got to go to Chuck E Cheese and play some games, the kids had a blast. It was a brand new building and there was only 1 other little kid there so it was perfect. And the manager gave us free tokens and tickets. So for 10 bucks we got like a 180 tokens, and since we don't eat at chuck e cheese it was a very cheap trip. Yesterday the Kids got to go to the park with Shawno while I worked out. They loved to go somewhere with dad all by themselves. That is all that is new for now.

5 nights

For the last five nights Kassidee is doing so well as sleeping in her new room, and wakes up occasionally to go get a drink or potty break but every time she now goes back into her room with out having to be asked its so wonderful, the bad news is kyler slept in his playpen in our room prior to his cast on because he tries to get out of it and i didn't want him to fall and hurt it worse while it was still in the splint so now I have to break him of the habit. Mostly he does well except last week when we were all sick with the flu I let him take a sippy to bed so he wouldn't get dehydrated and now he wakes up in the middle of the night wanting water which is fine but it happens like 4 times a night and then he soaks through onto his bed and we have to do all the laundry and he wont nap with any pillow and blanket except for his. So anyways long story short I don't think I am going to win for a while.

He got his Cast Off

Kyler got his cast off this morning and he was so excited. But he screamed bloody murder when the nurse took him to x-ray him. Both the kids were excited. Kassidee because now we can go swim and play in the sand box, and I'm sure kyler was excited but more for the fact to have it off. I was excited to, now every time we go to the store or park everyone doesn't have to ask what happened, and I don't have to admit to what a horrible mom I am and It was my fault. I am also glad because we can just be back to normal Be able to give him a bath again. I think he is probably permanently black toes and knees. That is all that is new with us.

Finally It Happened

So Kassidee for about a year now has claimed ownership over our bed every night no matter how hard we fight her she will not sleep in her own room in her own bed. So Every Night its a fight over her going in her room which she usually wins who wants to fight all night (trust me she goes for hours and still doesn't give in)well last night I cheated a little and let her fall asleep on the couch and moved her into her room. She came in at 11 and said she needed a drink and to go to the bathroom. So she did and I was just gonna let her come sleep with us so I didn't have to fight her I told her to go get her pillow. I waited finally i went in her room and she went back to bed. and stayed there all night until 7 this morning. First time in a year. No jokes. So she got 15 marbles for her jar and I am hoping this is the start of something that will last. Anyways. Kyler gets his cast off on Wednesday as long as the xray shows its better. Yeah!!! Finally A bath, sand boxes and playing in the water is back!!So other things going on.Shawno and I are going to start running again tonight. I have been exercising like crazy for about two weeks and I think I can run again with out feeling like I'm gonna die. Kyler is so excited to get his cast off he keeps saying owee better owee better. take it off. He is talking so well. Kids are growing so fast. I cant believe it. Time goes so fast. We are trying to go to clarkston for Halloween. How fun. I'm excited hopefully all will work out the kids really want to go see all the grandparents.

We are Here And for the most part in one piece

So we made it as most of you know. Utah is Utah its not bad or anything we just miss Kendra and her family. We had a wonderful trip (okay so not wonderful but with two kids in a car probably as good as it can go.) The first night we didn't even make it that far. We just got into new Mexico and it starting pouring. Flash flooding green skies and Strong winds I was really expecting to see a tornado in the sky. So we okay I thought it would be a good Idea to pull over for the night. The 2ND Night we made it to Colorado and Utah border and by the 3rd afternoon we had made it on the trip there was lots of screaming, one flat tire repair and just a lot of driving. I hope I don't have to make that trip again. We got to Utah and A few days later me and the kids went to Montana to visit Grandma and Grandpa Davis with Vinse. Then Shawno found us a really nice place to live its a town home.Its nice enough just sucks for room. We went from living in a house for 2 1-2 yrs to a town home with no yard. but it is in a nice area and its a nice home.
Things were going pretty well until one day kyler wasn't feeling well and me and the kids were headed downstairs to go to urgent care for his ears when Kassidee fell and I tripped over her holding kyler and he broke his leg. What a horrible feeling I haven't ever felt so bad. I hurt my baby. It was heart breaking. It was so pitiful . He couldn't move for a week. Then we went and got his permanent cast on. He could walk if he wanted to but I think he was afraid it was gonna hurt. So he didn't really walk until this week. Then he was a little but not much then Saturday We met Jolene and Corbin Brigham City for Peach Day parade I haven't ever seen kyler move so fast after that Candy it was way fun to get to see. He was trying to hard but wasn't fast enough to beat the other kids. but Corbin was a trooper and shared with all the kids. I love it here for the fact Shawno is off work every day on time. We have our family time again, its so great when we want to do something we can and that he has 2 days off all the time again. Its great he could take time off when all of us were sick. just everything has been a lot easier.

Were Moving

So yesterday shawno got a call from bountiful and for a job offer. So we are packing up in 15 yes I said 15 days. In that 15 days we have to pack clean, move and find a new place to live in bountiful. Shawno starts on the 4th of Aug. I think he is really excited. I'm happy to be moving closer to home but I'm so sad about leaving Kendra and Her Family they are so wonderful and I have really gotten to know them. I'm also really worried about leaving in such a short amount of time. But anyways Better start packing

So we were at my least favorite store WALMART. (Hate doesn't even cover it) and we were of course looking at toys with no intentions of buying, and I came across an easy bake oven but you use Ice Instead of heat to bake, and it was on clearance for 5 dollars so I thought why not. Anyways I didn't really think it was gonna work, so this morning when I was babysitting I decided to pull it out and let Kassidee and her friend Madison bake them why babies were sleeping. And it worked it was way cute. they had a lot of fun frosting them and decorating them. Anyways We are going on a picnic on friday at a nature center with Kendra and her girls so I think Im gonna attempt to make these
But anyways I will post pics later.

Fourth Of July

So I didn't get any pics because by camera is dying. But the pics would have just been of the kids crying while we tried to get them to do sparklers the only thing that they enjoyed were the pop-its. Other than that a boring day. We didn't do much. We didn't even watch the fire works because Shawno Had to get up early the next day. Nothing else is really going on we stay busy. I watch 2 little girls in our ward 2-3 days a week, so on those days 4 kids under 4, keeps us going though and the kids do great playing together. Kassidee loved WallE so much she is begging to go to Kung Fu Panda so I think this week that's what we will do. We are Finally getting rain that we desperately need but I like no rain for the fact that the kids and I get to go to Sea World and not have it down pour on us walking around but I will take what we get. Kassidee has learned of a new word that I am not fond of. She has started to use the word HATE. Hopefully that will come and go. Kyler is a total boy always screams when he sees any kinda truck, car, or plane when we are driving until you acknowledge that there is in fact a car, truck, or plane. Shawno will probably be working a lot till Aug because its inventory time, so we will probably be bored. We want to move closer to Washington. Shawno put in for a few transfers hopefully we will hear soon.

really bad at the blogging thing

Crazy how fast time goes by I cant believe that it is July and the last time I posted was in March I promise to do better. Okay so things that have come and gone
Grandma and Grandpa Grover came for a Visit as Did Jenifer. We had so much fun playing it was sad to see them go. Kyler got really sick over Easter weekend, had to be admitted to the hospital for a couple of days, so no Easter pics. Lets see what else. We go to Sea World about 2 times a week, and play in the water. The kids never get tired of it.We have so much fun together. I love staying at home with my kids we have a ton of fun.I cant believe how fast time goes by.Kyler Turned 2 in April. Its crazy seems like he was just born. He had a cars cake, and got a bubble lawn mower, he pushes it around for hours outside.Kassidee loves singing and dancing, she got to help at singing time at nursery last week and loved it. Kassidee is doing great she is so loving and wants to be involved all the time. Kyler is starting to yell a lot. He stopped for a while with the piercing scream but its started up again. He is talking more and more. He is very affectionate and wants to give hugs and kisses all the time. We took the kids to see WallE yesterday and i thought we were just asking for it but they really did great didn't move once. Anyways here's some pics Enjoy and I promise to keep up.

Fish Lips

Yesterday Kassidee had to go to the dentist and get a filling and so her lips were numb. We kept telling her not to bite them or they would hurt. Well as many times as we tried she continued to bite her lips and now the bottom lip is all swollen and looks like she has bigger lips than fish. She did very well at the dentist though and was very brave to go back all by herself. She only cried for a second they said and as soon as she woke up she got to pick a treasure. She was so excited to pick the same thing she always does when we go in for cleanings and check ups a coloring book and a small box of crayons and about 5 stickers. I was so relieved that she did good by herself as she usually cries when I leave. So hopefully she is becoming more outgoing and will do better at things by herself.
We are also waiting for Grandpa and Grandma Grover to come and see us we are so excited Kassidee made a chart to tear down a page everyday till the chart says 0 when they arrive. Every day she says 3 more days and grandpa and grandma will be here. She cant wait to take them to SEA WORLD and the ZOO. and anywhere else they want to go. Shawno will be off for the week, so we are really excited. Then On Tuesday of the following week Jen will be here to visit us so we are going to have an exciting couple of weeks.

Crazy Sundays

Sundays are usually pretty hectic in our house, so we have been trying to get things done Saturday night instead of waiting till that morning to do everything. And things are getting better, we have made it on time to sacrament 3 weeks in a row. Sundays are just hard on the kids, now that church is later its during lunch time, nap time and its just a big fight. So Yesterday Shawno and Kyler were not feeling so well so they stayed home, and me and Kassidee went. I thought this is going to be a great Sunday. I will take some fruit snacks for her a special notebook and pen, and i will for once get to sit in sacrament and maybe actually enjoy church. After all Kassidee is usually the easier one out of the two, and usually is okay if Kyler isn't stealing all of her stuff so we get to church sit down. Well she had found a post it pack of paper in my bag, and wanted to draw on it. alright fine. well the she took them apart no big deal. According to her very big deal. She wanted them to go back together. I tried but they weren't very sticky so i told her that they probably wouldn't stick together anymore but there was another one at home and notebook she could draw in in my bag, this all while the actual sacrament started, she let out what could only be known as the loudest scream ever at church.And on top of it i couldn't just dart out. the chapel was packed so I had to walk all the way around just to get out. It was like a nightmare and I couldn't get out fast enough. so we get out there, and she hates the hallway because we don't let her play she has to sit in a little chair in a little room till she is good and we can go back in, so we head in and someone had take our one seat we were sharing my bag and everything was still in there. and there wast anywhere to sit without taking someone else seat so I went back out, then she was all upset because the bag was in there and oh my goodness and hour long sacrament turned into what seemed like hours. But it did end and the rest of the day was great. On Wednesday she has to go into the dentist for 1 small cavity, and the poor girl doesn't even know it yet, and since she has to be sedated she cant have anything to eat or drink before her apt. she is going to have a bad Wednesday. But I know everything will be okay.
Speaking of tantrums. I thought it was supposed to be terrible twos not three's I swear she has been on a tantrum since she turned 3. If this is what Is to come Every Day I hope it goes fast. Although I have to watch myself because some of them make me laugh for example. Yesterday she wanted to watch a movie so we put one on in the computer so we could watch a movie in the living room, and for like an hour she was like honey i just want to watch one out here as she cried.and honey this and honey at about everything. Finally Shawno had to explain to her just because she uses the words honey doesn't make her tone and attitude okay.
